Serving one another

God has given each of us unique gifts, abilities, and opportunities to serve. As followers of Christ, we are called not only to receive from the church but also to use what God has given us to serve one another. Scripture reminds us, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace” (1 Peter 4:10).

Serving is one of the ways we put our faith into action. Whether we are welcoming someone through the doors, caring for children, helping create a safe place to worship, meeting a practical need, or serving behind the scenes, every act of service matters. When we serve, we follow the example of Jesus, who came “not to be served but to serve” (Mark 10:45).
