 October 25: All Together Sunday, Elevate Update & Called Business Meeting

• TODAY, we will have an All Together Sunday with 9am Grow Groups, 10:30am Worship Gathering (combined), and a Called Business meeting at 11:45am. Please be with us as we vote on adding one deacon & on our motion from the Elevate Team. (Members' absentee ballots must be emailed to office@fbclorena.org by October 23.)
• We shared a significant Elevate update (for our new building project). Please pick up your copy, or email office@fbclorena.org for a digital copy, read it, and pray as we prepare to vote at our business meeting TODAY!

Connect Card

• Are you new to FBC Lorena? Thanks for being our guest! Please get a Connect Card, tell us a bit about yourself, and drop the card in the offering plate. We are glad you're here! You may also submit prayer requests on these cards.

Fall Fest

• All are invited to Fall Fest TODAY, October 25, 4-6pm, at FBC Lorena. We will have games, candy, bounce houses, a cakewalk, hotdogs, and more. All is FREE. Please invite friends and share our social media posts, and join us!

Senior Adult Fellowship

• Our next Senior Adult Fellowships will be Tuesdays, October 27 & November 10, at 5pm in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish to share and enjoy time together!

5th Quarters

• We are coming down to our final 5th Quarter (after Lorena home football games) on October 30. Contact logan@fbclorena.org to help us serve for this big event!

Lord's Supper & Caring Hearts Offering

• On November 1, we will receive the Lord's Supper together during both Worship Gatherings. At the end of each gathering, we will also receive our Caring Hearts Offering, which benefits local people who approach our church with needs.

Mission Waco Toy Drive

• We like to partner with other Christian organizations as the holidays approach. Please help us collect toys that are new, unwrapped, and with the price tag still attached. You can bring these toys to our collection boxes in the Welcome Area from November 1-29. If you have questions, please contact Ben at hueyb44@gmail.com.

Community Park Pick Up

• Our church is excited to join with all Lorena churches at McBrayer Park on November 14, from 9am-12pm. We will come together to clean up the park area, and enjoy a provided lunch at the end. All supplies will be provided, and anyone under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult. In case of bad weather, November 21 will be the alternate date.

Membership Class

Texas Baptists' Annual Meeting - Waco

• Would you like to attend our state denomination's annual meeting in Waco (on November 15-17) and vote on our church's behalf? All church members in good standing are welcome to serve this way! Please email office@fbclorena.org to do so.

Donnie Page on Sabbatical

• Our Associate Pastor, Donnie, is on sabbatical from October 13-November 13. Please pick up a sabbatical guide in the Welcome Area and pray for he and Sheryl as they take time for rest, renewal, and prayer.

Work Day & Men's Group Thank You

• Thank you, church, for participating in our full Saturday on October 24! It was a very good day, for sure.
