SPARKS

K - 2ND GRADE

Boys and girls will have fun while taking a step deeper into God’s Word and come in contact with consistent presentations of the Gospel in their study.


TRUTH AND TRAINING

3RD - 5TH GRADE

Boys and girls participate in many activities, learn the truth of God’s Word, and are taught how to follow Christ in their daily lives.


Awana clubs Meet

wednesdays during the school year from 6:00-7:30pm

AWANA disciples kids through Scripture memory which feeds kids' hunger for God. Kids learn biblical concepts like sin, salvation, and grace to lay a foundation of faith for a lifetime. Where else will kids learn how to navigate the Bible and understand its amazing true story?


Registration cost is $30 per child or $60 per family.

New Awana Year begins August 16.

Our Vision

We will equip children through Scripture to be Christ-like

examples and leaders within our community and to the world.

Grow Groups

On Sundays at 9:30am, kids learn about and experience God through Grow Groups. These are classes for 3 year olds-5th graders, utilizing Lifeway's Bible Studies for Life. Our experienced and background-checked teachers provide a safe and fun environment for kids of every age. Nursery care is available for infants-2 year olds at 9:30am and infants-3 year olds at 10:45am. Our Grow Groups and Nursery are located in the Education Building. 

KIDS WORSHIP

 During the Worship Gathering, Sundays at 10:45am, kids participate in intergenerational worship until the beginning of the Message. 


Before the Message, 4 year olds through 2nd graders, will be dismissed to engage in age- appropriate worship and activities.  Kids learn Jesus is the Great Promised Redeemer through The Jesus Storybook Bible. Kids will enjoy Bible Story, Songs, Activities, and Snacks.

Kids Choir

We believe kids can lead in worship and remind adults of childlike faith. Our Kids Choir sings in worship several times a year. If you would like your kid to join, contact rachel@fbclorena.org.

Mothers of Preschoolers

Mothers of Preschoolers meets at FBC Lorena twice a month on Wednesdays for a time of fellowship, encouragement, education, and support for moms. Childcare for infants-preschoolers may be available by reservation. 


MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.

One of my greatest joys in life is walking alongside kids to see them believe in Jesus and begin living their lives for him. One of the goals of kids ministry is to teach and train kids toward salvation and maturity in Christ. The kids ministry disciples kids to foster a vibrant faith and fruit-bearing relationship with Christ. Parents and grandparents, I encourage you to utilize the resources below as you train your kids in the way of the Lord.
